Aluminum Welder/Fitter Supervisor

Responsibilities
-
Ability to interpret drawings, work orders, welding processes, materials, and other documentation associated with production

Capable of applying key welding and fitting processes
-
Strong mathematical capability and layout skills
-
Extensive knowledge of the standard methods, materials and equipment used in the welder trades.

Knowledge and understanding of the operation of shop tools
-
Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools. ie Drills, Disc Grinders etc
-
Manually lifting weights between 20-50 lbs.

Following all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations

Assisting other warehouse personnel with various duties
-
Working in a fast-paced environment

Paying high attention to detail
-
Ability to pay close attention to detail and examine work for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.

Willing to work overtime as required

Proper precautions, housekeeping and safety always upheld
-
Performs related duties as required.

Aluminum Welding Experience
-
TIG/MIG Process Experience
-
Fitting Experience
-
Ability to work on tight deadlines, in confined spaces, alone and as part of a team

Available to travel for warranty repairs when necessary
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Having own tools considered an asset
